Support has been added in R2, for the warehouse manager to be alerted on assets with ‘Quick Turnaround’.
This will help to utilize the assets optimally on other future orders in the pipeline.
Functionality Covered
Rules to configure the system to trigger an alert when an item in R2 Order is:
Assigned as Quick Turn Around. [See Prerequisite #1 for more details on rule configuration]
From within the Order Edit (Order Edit > Right Click > Assign).
From within Warehouse (Warehouse > Assign > Right Click > Assign).
From within Availability Window (Availability > Future Orders > Right Click > Assign).
A Quick Turn Around Asset on an Order gets returned. [See Prerequisite #2 for more details on rule configuration]
The Email Template includes the information provided in example below.
The Email Template is expected to be used irrespective of where the action is performed

Pre-requisites #1 [Rules for triggering alert when Item is assigned for Quick Turn Around]
Got to R2Labor > Main Menu > Manage > Rules > Create.
Select a Data Source, Action, and Category using the respective drop-down list.
Select the checkboxes – ‘Deliver on Desktop’, ‘Deliver on E-mail’, and ‘Active’.

From the Conditions list, select the relevant Data Source Condition.

Add the relevant recipient for the E-mail/alert to be sent.
Configure the alert message/E-mail using the proper template.

Save the Rule, by giving it a proper identifiable name.

Got to R2Labor > Main Menu > Manage > Rules > Create.
Select a Data Source, Action, and Category using the respective drop-down list.
Select the checkboxes – ‘Deliver on Desktop’, ‘Deliver on Email’, and ‘Active’.
From the Conditions list, select the relevant Data Source Condition.

Define the Template Condition. Add it in the E-mail template under items delta.

Define and Configure the rule.

Sample Workflow
In R2 > Accounts > Open an order.
Create a source order and fill ship the equipment with the pickup and return dates that can fulfil quick turn assign on the target order and exit.

Create a target order with overlapping Prep and Ship dates and hence items show as not available.

Now Quick Turn Assign[JKV5] the equipment on target order and choose the above created source order and save and exit.

Recipients on the rule configured will receive an email alert as below

Return the equipment which are quick turn marked on Source Order
