Display new crew calendar similar to the general calendar

This enhancement is to display the Crew Calendar similar to the General Calendar Dashboard widget.

Following are new features that the new Crew Calendar allows the user to perform:

  • After clicking the Calendar button, the calendar popup displays with views (Agenda, Day, Week, Month, and Timeline) similar to the Calendar widget in General Dashboard.

  • Users can the view the calendar in the selected view.

  • Agenda: Lists the resources assigned to the events based on the selected date range.

    • Day/ Month/ Week/ Time-line : Lists the resources assigned to the events based on the Day/Month/Week/Timeline view.

  • Users can filter the labor type using the quick filter options.

  • Availability Status: The availability status of the resources can be either Available, Not Available (either is resource is busy, or has declined the availability request), Availability Request Sent (where a request for status check has been sent).

The highlighted number mentioned, refers to the number of resources which are assigned to the task, but are not displayed in UI due to space constraints.

Change in Design: The New Design Provided 'multiple views and filters' very similar to the 'General Calendar Dashboard'.

  • Users can filter the data of the selected resources and also modify the resources selected in the filters.

  • Availability Status: The availability status of the resources can be either Available, Not Available (either is resource is busy, or has declined the availability request), Availability Request Sent (where a request for status check has been sent).

  • Users can Add, Edit, and Delete calendar events in the calendar popup.

  • User can select the resources and click Calendar button, then the system will consider the selected resources as the default assignees for creating the event.

  • User can delete the Resource(s) assigned to an event.

  • An additional filter is added as ‘Resource Name (Resource ID)’ to filter the unique data in Crew Calendar. This helps the user to avoid duplication of data (For example: If the resources names are same, user can easily filter the data using resource name (resource ID) option to filter the particular employee/resource) data.

  • A tool tip on calendar bar displays the Resource Name (Resource ID) instead of displaying only the resource name. This helps the user to view the accurate details of resource.

  • Crew Calendar retains the previous selected view i.e., Agenda/Day/Week/Month/Timeline on re-opening the calendar in any screen.

Whenever the user visits the Crew Calendar in any screen, system retains the previous selected view until the cache is cleared in the server. Post cache cleared; by default, system displays the calendar in Month view.

If the user Logs off and then login, system still retains the previous selected view in the calendar.

If the user closes the browser/window and opens the application in other browser/window, system still fetches the previous selected view of the calendar.

Retaining the previous selected view option is also provided in General Calendar Dashboard.
