While importing the Timesheet, system does a few set of validations to make sure the imported lines data are as same as booking line data.

Why does imported timesheet lines need validations?

Well, after exporting the Timesheet from Planning Order, the planner might change few data against the booking lines like- date modification, line deleted etc., and would have saved the Order. Meanwhile, when the Timesheet is imported, obviously the data mismatches between the booking lines and imported timesheet lines.

To overcome this issue, a new column 'Error comments' is introduced at the end of the row in each booking lines.

• This column indicates the exact modification happened in each booking date/line after exporting the Timesheet.

• It indicates wither error and warning against each timesheet line.

• Following are the color codes to identity whether the line has error/warning or not.

• Error: The entire line displays in Red font apart from 'Amount' column*

  • Warning: The entire line displays in Dark Orange font apart from 'Amount' column*

  • If the Timesheet line has no error/warning, then the line displays in Black font.

 *The 'Amount' column has its own set of validations as shown below. Hence it does not reside the same font color as to indicate error/warning.

• Black: When the Timesheet line and booking line amount matches.

• Red: When the Timesheet amount is greater than the booking line.

• Green: When the Timesheet amount is lesser than the booking line. 

Below are the possible scenarios where the error/warning displays when a change happened in Booking line after exporting the Timesheet.
