Before filling the order, to ensure that the items ready to be filled, a list of the items is required. This list is called as Pick list. Pick list print will also give information about the order and the Bin and Shelf information about the items to be filled. It is also possible to print the pick list in different formats.
Pick list print can be accessed from various locations.
Warehouse > Print > Pick list
Warehouse > Search Fill Orders > Order Fill > Print Pick List
Warehouse > Pick Order > Print Pick List
Warehouse > Search Orders > Print Pick List
Warehouse > Search Ship Order > Ship Order > Print Pick List
Accounts > Search Orders > Print Pick list
Prerequisites
To Setup Warehouse Print Format in Configuration
Based on the format selected for Pick list print, in Configuration > Print Tag , R2 will print the Pick list
Format type | Description |
Plain | If Plain is selected, the Print will be in text form. |
Pre-Printed | If Pre-printed is selected, the Print will be in rtf form. |
Both | If Both is selected, user gets a prompt select the form type, when a print command is given. |
Transfer orders will always be printed in Pre-Printed form irrespective of the settings in Configuration or the Form type selected.
To Setup Warehouse Print Type in Configuration
For Plain format the print generated will open in either word viewer or word as per the settings specified in R2.ini
Configuring print preview in R2.ini:
Edit R2.ini.
Add the Strings.
QUOTEPREVIEW= specify the location were word or word viewer is installed in your system.
Example: QUOTEPREVIEW=c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\WINWORD.EXE
Based on the type selected, R2 will print the pick list in the Pre-Print form as mentioned in the description

Select Printer | On selecting Select Printer as the type option the Pick List print generated will be saved in the default printer path mentioned in R2.ini |
Direct Print | If Direct Print is selected as the type option, the Pick list print generated will be saved in the R2 installed folder and windows print options dialog will be displayed using which pick list can be printed. |
Text Print Preview | If Text Print Preview is selected as the type option, the Pick List print generated will be saved in the R2 installed folder and will be opened using the application mentioned in R2.ini for TEXTPRINTPREVIEW |

To Print Pick List from Warehouse Main Window
Search for tasks of Order Type, Order and Transfer Orders.
Click on Print > Pick List from the Menu Bar of Warehouse Main Window.
The Form Type dialog appears.
Click either the Plain or Pre Printed radio button. Choose Plain to print in text form. Use Pre Printed to view the RTF form of printing.
The form type dialog will be displayed only if Format option for Warehouse print is set as Both in configuration.
The Pick List dialog will appear.
Depending on the requirement, select the options on this dialog.
Click on Run to generate the Pick List
The Pick List generated will be based on the format type selected and the different options selected in Pick List dialog while generating the print.
To Print Pick List from Order Fill
Open the Order Fill window.
To print the pick list click on the Print Pick List icon in the tool bar.
The Pick List dialog will appear.
Depending on the requirement, select the options on this dialog.
Click on Run to generate the Pick List
The Pick List generated will be based on the format type selected and the different options selected in Pick List dialog while generating the print.
To Print Pick List from Pick Order
Open the Pick Order window.
Select the different types of orders by double clicking on the Order or Transfer Order and click on the Print Pick List Icon.
The Pick List dialog will appear.
Depending on the requirement, select the options on this dialog.
Click on Run to generate the Pick List
The Pick List generated will be based on the format type selected and the different options selected in Pick List dialog while generating the print.
To Print Pick List from Warehouse Search Orders
Open the Search Orders window from Warehouse.
Search for the Orders and select an Order and click on the Print Pick list Icon.
The Form Type dialog appears.
The Pick List dialog will appear.
Depending on the requirement, select the options on this dialog. For more help on different options please see Picklist print options
Click on Run to generate the Pick List
The Pick List generated will be based on the format type selected and the different options selected in Pick List dialog while generating the print.
To Print Pick List from Ship Order
Open Ship Order window from Warehouse.
To print the pick list click on the Print Pick list Icon in the tool bar.
The Pick list Detail dialog will be displayed click on 'Yes' to generate the print for the selected lines in the folder where R2 is installed.
To Print Pick List from Accounts Search Order
Open the Search Orders window from Warehouse.
Search for the Orders in Accounts Main window and select an Order and click on the Print Picklist Icon.
The print generated will be as per the format specified in the Defaults module > Accounts > Orders > Pick list.
The Pick List generated will be based on the format type selected and the different options selected in Pick List dialog while generating the print.
