When this script (PayPolicyUpdate.bat) is executed after creating the Pay Policy Grid definitions with newer rates and newer effective dates, it would consider the Pay Policy Grid as per the Booking Line EWT Date(s).
About the script:
This script will update the booking line Total cost as per the following conditions.
If the cost from the crew position is updated, or If the Grid pricing had been applied.
This script accepts the date in 'MM/DD/YYYY' format as a parameter.
With this date, the script will filter the booking lines with overlap, and only those booking lines will get updated as per the new crew position cost or the Grid pricing definition.
Make sure NO users are connected to the application before starting the script.
When you run the script PayPolicyUpdate.bat you need to provide the following details.
R2 schema name.
R2 schema password.
Service name.
Effective date
A Log file PayPolicyUpdateScriptLog.log will be generated in the same folder.
Pre-requisite for this feature to work
An Order in R2 with a few Labor Positions added.
Same Order opened in R2Labor and EWT defined for some/all of the Crew.
Paypolicy defined for the labor type which has been added.
Labor Grid Pricing define in Maintenance Module.
