Search Orders window lets you to search orders based on the different search criteria using different filter options. This window also provides the user with a provision to edit the orders.
Accessing Search Orders window
Accounts module > View menu > Orders option.
Accounts module > tool bar > Search Orders icon.
Accounts module > tool bar > Search Orders down arrow icon.

The Search Orders window is divided into three sections that have different functions.
The tool bar icons: Lets you to print the orders, equipment delivery receipts and more..
Filter By - Contains filtering options by which order search results can be filtered.
Orders - Contains options by which orders can be searched.
Search results: Displays the order list based on the search.

The Order Search window displays Order ID and the log in Site as the default search and Site options with 'Any Part of Field' as the filter option and 'None' as the sort option (for Order ID).
Filter by
The filtering options available in the 'Filter By' section lets you filter the order search results based on selection. The following table shows the filter by options and the order they filter.

In addition to those check box filter by options, a site filter is provided at the extreme right side of the window to search the orders based on the site.
The dropdown menu has the following options
All Sites: Displays the orders belonging to all the sites, sub-regions, and regions.
Site: Displays the orders belonging to the selected site.
Sub-Region: Displays the orders belonging to the selected sub-region.
Region: Displays the orders belonging to the selected region
Click the importable button to select the site/ sub-region /region for filtering the orders.

Searching for orders can be done through the standard search dialog available in the 'Orders' section.
The Search dialog contains two areas labeled 'Search' and 'Sort By'. You can use the fields, buttons, and icons within these areas to configure your search.
The search area determines what record field and what part of that field you are searching. This is also where you will enter the characters you are searching for and tell R2 to perform your search. The Advanced window lets you narrow your search and use multiple search criteria.
The Sort By area lets you choose the display format for your search results.
The different Field Types on the basis of which user can search orders are
Search criteria: To search the record by applying a criteria.
Search condition: To search a record by entering a certain part of the value that you are searching.
View Sub Orders: To view only the sub orders.
View records: Presents the data in a grid or as a bar.
Sort By: To sort the search records by ascending/ descending.
Search Criteria
Following are the search criterion available for searching the orders.

S | To search for Sale Order. To display the sale orders, click Search button by selecting search field as 'S' and selecting 'S' checkbox (will be displayed only when search field selected is 'S') |
Ops | To search for Operational Order. To display the operational orders, click Search button by selecting search field as 'Ops' and selecting 'Ops' checkbox (will be displayed only when search field selected is 'Ops') |
Order ID | To search the order using the Order ID. This field is case sensitive |
Company status | To search the order using the company's status. Select the status from the dropdown. Available options are Active, Inactive, Potential, and Frozen |
Billing company status | To search the order using the billing company's status. Select the status from the dropdown. Available options are Active, Inactive, Potential, and Frozen |
Description | To search the order using the order description |
Sales person | To search orders created by a particular sales person |
Amount | To search the order based on the total amount against the order |
Site amount | To search the order based on the site amount of the order |
Base amount | To search the order based on the base amount of the order |
Company | To search orders created for a particular company |
Contact | To search orders created for particular contact of a company |
Start date | To search orders based on the start date of an order |
End date | To search orders based on the end date of an order |
Status | To search orders based on the order status |
Site | To search orders of a particular site |
Customer ID | To search order created for a particular customer using Customer ID |
Assigned to | To search order based on a particular project manager to whom the order is assigned to |
PO# | To search orders using the purchase order number |
Event name | To search orders created for a particular event |
Project | To search orders created for particular project |
Billing company | To search orders created for a particular billing company |
Billing contact | To search orders based on a particular billing contact of a company |
Category | To search orders based on a item's category tagged to the order |
Sub-category | To search orders based on a item's sub-category tagged to the order |
Ship location name | To search orders based on ship location selected for the order. This field is case sensitive |
Ship location ID | To search orders based on ID of the ship location selected in the order |
Ship address | To search orders based on ship location address present for the order |
Ship street | To search orders based on street of ship location address present for the order |
Ship city | To search orders based on city of ship location address present for the order |
Ship zip code | To search orders based on zip code of ship location address present for the order |
Department | To search orders based on the department selected for the order |
O- status | To search orders based on operational status of the order. The Operational Status of the orders displays status such as Partly Filled, Partly Filled Ship Ready, Shipped, Pick Up, Check In, Partly Returned, Returned |
Event ID | To search orders created for a particular event using event ID |
Invoice exists | To search orders only if the invoice exits for the order |
Ship booth/room# | To search orders based on ship booth/room# selected for the order |
Return booth/room# | To search orders based on ship return booth/room# selected for the order |
Last invoice date | To search orders based on the bill date of the last posted invoice date. This support is given as there was no provision to view the generated invoice and the last posted invoice. For long term orders, you can now view invoices which has been posted in previous months |
Ship date | To search orders based on ship date selected for the order |
Next bill date | To search orders based on next bill date selected for the order |
Custom status | To search orders based on custom status selected for the order |
Labor Planner | To search the orders based on the labor planner so that they can easily filter out the orders they are working on. This column is available only in Accounts > Search Orders icon / View > Orders. |

The search condition selected determines how the value(s) entered are used to search the search field.
The following table describes about the search condition and its results.

Search condition | Description |
Any Part of Field | Returns the records that match the value given to any part of the selected filter type |
Start of Field | Returns the records that matches with the value given in the beginning of the selected filter type. |
Whole Field | Searches the entire field for matching criteria. This displays the record, which exactly matches with the given search criteria. So while using this option, information given should be correct |
Equal | Returns the records that are equal to the value given in the search field |
Not Equal | Returns the records that are not equal to the value given in the search field |
Greater | Returns the records that are greater than the value given in the search field |
Greater or Equal | Returns the records that are greater than or equal to the value given in the search field |
Less or Equal | Returns the records that are less than or equal to the value given in the search field |
Between | Returns the records that are between the values in the first and second search fields |
Searching Orders having Sub Orders
For the orders having sub orders, on performing search using either the sub Order Information or using the main order information, system displays the main order with expand symbol, using which when expanded displays the sub orders present for the main order.
Viewing the search results
You can view the search results in the following two types. Enable the radio button as per your need to view the search results.
