Details

Support for the Transfer Order Templates has been provided in order to group the Items, Kits, or other Templates in one collection, as shown in Figure 1.0.

The Template is created from the Maintenance module > Assets tab > Templates tab > New icon. The created template can be then added to a Transfer Order, and the quantity required for each item grouped in the template that must be defined at time of adding it to the Transfer Order.

The functionality is explained in the below Sample Work Flow:  

Prerequisites

1. Select the Maintenance module > Items tab.

2. Create the Items [FLOOR JACK], [ROUTER], and [AIR TANK].

3. Create a Serial Kit [SKIT#1] and add the Items [ROUTER] and [AIR TANK].

4. Select the Maintenance module > Assets tab > Templates tab > New icon. The Templates window is displayed.

5. Enter the Template ID [TOTEMP#1], Description [TOTEMP#1].

6. Select the Searchable check box from displaying in the Transfer Order or select the Do not bring header on Order check box to exclude template name from displaying in the Transfer Order.

7. Define the MaxTagCount option:

• All - All option allows you to select all the items in template while adding to the Transfer Order.

• Select - Select option allows you to define the max tag count value restricting you to insert the defined number of items into the Transfer Order from the Template item list.

8. Click the Items List button. The Search Items window is displayed.  

9. Search and add the Item [FLOOR JACK].

10. Click the Kits button. The Search Items window is displayed.  

11. Search and add the Serial Kit [SKIT#1].

12. Click the Templates button. The Template window is displayed.

13. Search and add the Template [TOTEMP#2].

14. Click the Expand / Collapse button to view the Package [SKIT#1] and Template [TOTEMP#2], as shown in Figure 2.0.

15. Click OK.

16. Save and Exit the Maintenance module.

Sample Workflow

1. Select the Account module. Tag a Company [EVERGREEN AV RENTALS] and create Transfer Out [TO#07] with From [SANFRANCISCO] To [NEWYORK] and the Return Order check box selected.

2. Select the Add Items drop-down > Templates option, as shown in Figure 3.0.

3. The Template window is displayed. Search for the Template [TOTEMP#1] using either Template ID or Description as the search criteria.

4. Enter the Qty [1] to tag the Template definition [TOTEMP#1], as shown in Figure 3.1.

5. Click OK. The Template definition [TOTEMP#1] gets added to the Transfer Order [TO#07] displaying the Template Name [TOTEMP#1], Serial Item [FLOOR JACK], Package [SKIT#1], and Template definition [TOTEMP#2], as shown in Figure 3.2.

6. Fill All the Items in the Transfer Order [TO#7], as shown in Figure 3.3.

7. Save and Exit the Transfer Order [TO#7].

8. Select the Warehouse module.

9. Search and open the Prep Task of the Transfer Order [TO#7]. The [TO#7 Transfer Detail View] window is displayed portraying only the Items and Kits within the Template and does not display the Template Header, as shown in Figure 3.4.

10. Exit the [TO#7 Transfer Detail View] window.

11. Select the Account module > Search Orders drop-down > Transfer Orders option. The Search Transfer Orders window is displayed.

12. Search and open the Return Transfer Order [TO#08]. The Return Transfer Order [TO#08] is displayed portraying only the Items and Kits within the Template and does not display the Template Header, as shown in Figure 3.5.

13. Exit the Return Transfer Order [TO#08].

1. The Template Header is a new line with Description in Transfer Orders and no link between Template Header and its Item lines.

2. The Misc. Charges when included in the Transfer Order Template are excluded in the Transfer Order.

3. The Transfer Order Prints does not display the Template Headers.
