Additional Themes in R2

Ability to custom design R2 Launch pad for different themes is documented here.
Details
Additional Themes have been introduced in the Configuration module of the R2 application. Here, you can choose a different Theme other than the R2 Original theme enabling you to view a modified UI Interface. The details are explained in the sample workflow given below:
Sample Workflow
Select the Configuration module. The Configurations window is displayed.
Click the Customize Launchpad icon. The Customize Launchpad window is displayed.
The Theme drop-down and the Change Positions check box options are included, as shown in Figure1.0.
Theme
Select the Theme drop-down to display the Themes, as shown in Figure1.0.

The modules can be customized only when you select the Button Theme drop-down as ORIGINAL and not for the other Button Themes such as Colors, Red, Gray, Green, B&W, and Blue. All the modules are displayed for the Button Themes such as Colors, Red, Gray, Green, B&W, and Blue.
Select the Button Theme drop-down as Colors.
Click the OK button.
Exit the Configuration module.
Relaunch the R2 Application. The modified R2 Login window is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.1.

In the User Name field, enter the User Name that is unique to each of the employee to log-in to the R2 application.
The User Name should always be in capitals, if not, it will be automatically capitalized.
In the Password field, enter the Password that is unique to each of the employee to log-in to the R2 application.
Click OK.
On entering the correct User Name and Password, the system allows you to access the R2 Launch Pad window, as shown in Figure 1.2.

The R2 Launch Pad comprises of all the R2 application modules. It acts as a navigator through which you can access different modules. New icons for each of the module have been introduced to improve the visual display of the application, as shown in Figure 1.2.
The modules will be displayed / enabled in the Launch Pad based on the settings present for the employee logged-in. All the modules are displayed for the Button Themes such as Colors, Red, Gray, Green, B&W, and Blue.
Additionally, a new label named Info: has been added. The details for the label can be entered in the R2.ini file. For further details refer to Info and ShowUID section.
Select the Account module. The Account window with the Colors theme and the New icons applied to the R2 application is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.3.

Exit the Account module.
From the R2 Launch Pad, select the Warehouse module. The Warehouse window with the Colors theme and the New icons applied to the R2 application is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.4.

Exit the Warehouse module.
The sample workflow procedure is applicable for the other Button Themes such as Red, Gray, Green, B&W and Blue.
Change Positions
Select the Configuration module. The Configurations window is displayed.
Click the Customize Launchpad icon. The Customize Launchpad window is displayed.
Select the Button Theme drop-down as Colors and select the Change Positions check box option, as shown in Figure1.5.

Click the OK button.
Exit the Configuration module.
Relaunch the R2 Application. The Original R2 Login window is displayed.
Enter the User Name and Password.
Select the Account module. The Account window with the change in the icon positions is displayed, as shown in Figure1.6.
When the Change Positions check box option is selected, the functionally similar icons are grouped together.

Exit the Account module.
Select the Configuration module. The Configurations window is displayed.
Click the Customize Launchpad icon. The Customize Launchpad window is displayed.
Select the Button Theme drop-down as ORIGINAL and do not select the Change Positions check box.
Click OK.
Exit the Configuration module.
Relaunch the R2 Application. The Original R2 Login window is displayed.
Enter the User Name and Password.
Select the Account module. The Account window is displayed. Now, the Icons in the Account window are rearranged to its original position, as shown in Figure1.7.

The following table provides the other Button Themes that can be applied to the R2 application with a sample image of each of the Theme.

Green | The R2 application displays in Green theme applied to it. Click Green to view the sample of the Green Theme applied to the R2 application. |
Red | The R2 application displays in Red theme applied to it. Click Red to view the sample of the Red Theme applied to the R2 application. |
The above mentioned workflow is taken when the Default Theme is set as Custom in the R2.ini file. However, the above mentioned additional Themes are applied on top of the Default Theme set in R2.ini file.
Info and ShowUID
Two new parameters named INFO and SHOWUID can be entered in the R2.ini file. The details provided for the INFO and SHOWUID parameters are displayed as a label in the R2 Launch Pad.

The SHOWUID parameter displays the Schema User ID Name and can be written as TRUE or FALSE.
TRUE: Displays the Schema User ID Name
FALSE: Does not display the Schema User ID Name
