Support for Skills and Certificates

Details
Support has been provided to create the Skills and Certificates in the R2 Labor application and synchronize to the R2 application.
The following areas have been updated with the Skills and Certificates in the R2 application:
The Order's Labor tab has been supported with the Skill(s) and Certificate(s) columns wherein the More button of the respective Skill(s) and Certificate(s) columns, when clicked, displays the Skills List window and the Certification List window with the Skills and Certificates created in the R2 Labor application.
The Skills and Certificates can be tagged to a Labor line either by selecting the More button of the respective columns or by selecting a Labor line and performing a right-click > Update Labor Line Details option > Update Labor Line Details window and tagging Skills and Certificates.
The Order Change History window displays the Skill(s) and Certificate(s) columns changes.
The support for new CIDs [17 and 18] has been provided to Print the Skills and Certificates from the Labor grid in the Order Print.
The applying of Skills and Certificates to the Labor Positions enables you to Search and Filter the Orders based on the Active Skills and/or Certificates from the Search Orders window in the R2 Labor application.
The below Sample Workflow explains the above functionality:
Sample Workflow
R2 Labor application Prerequisites - Creating Skills or Proficiency Levels
The below prerequisites must be performed from the R2 Labor application
Log into the R2 Labor application.
Select the R2 Labor Settings > Web Labor Settings > Resource Proficiency Level option. The Proficiency Level screen is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.0.

Click the Add icon and add the following Proficiency Levels by providing the Description and selecting the Is Active check box, whether True or False, as shown in Figure 1.1.

Click Save. The Proficiency Levels with the Description and Is Active whether True or False is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.1.
The Proficiency Levels, if True indicates as Active and if False indicates as Inactive.

You can Delete an Active / Inactive Proficiency Levels by clicking the Delete icon in the respective row.
NOTE: Only the Proficiency Level that is not in use in any of the Crew Edit screens can be deleted. The Proficiency Level that is in use cannot be deleted.
The Proficiency Levels included in the R2 Labor application is displayed in the Skill(s) column of the R2 application.
Creating Certificates
Select the R2 Labor Settings > Web Labor Settings > Certifications option. The Certifications screen is displayed, as shown in Figure 2.0.
Click the Add icon to Add the following Certifications by providing the Description and selecting the Is Active check box, whether True or False, as shown in Figure 2.0.
Multimedia Specialist
Cinematic Vide Specialist
Lighting Specialist
Click Apply to apply the Certifications.

The Certifications, if True indicates as Active and if False indicates as Inactive.
You can Delete an Active / Inactive Certifications by clicking the [-] icon in the respective row.
Only the Certifications that is not in use or the Certifications that are not used in any Crew Edit screens can be deleted. The Certifications that are in use cannot be deleted.
The Certifications included in the R2 Labor application is displayed in the Certificate(s) column of the R2 application.
R2 application Prerequisites
The below prerequisites must be performed from the R2 application:
Select the Maintenance module > Items tab > Labors tab.
Create the Labor Positions [VIDEO ENGINEER], [AUDIO ENGINEER], and [CAMERA OPERATOR].
From the Maintenance window, click the Form Setup icon.
Perform the Form Setup with the Name [Skills and Certificates], Order Type drop-down as Order for [153500UI] comprising of the CIDs [17 and 18], as shown in Figure 2.1.

Click OK and exit the Maintenance module.
Scenario
Select the Account module. The Account window is displayed.
Tag a Company [NAT AUDIO VIDEO COMPANY] and create an Order [CO6981405] for 2 days duration.
Search and add the three Labor Positions [VIDEO ENGINEER], [AUDIO ENGINEER], and [CAMERA OPERATOR] with 1 Qty, Regular Rate [1.00] and RT [150.00], [100.00], and [90.00] respectively, as shown in Figure 3.0.
The Labor Positions [VIDEO ENGINEER], [AUDIO ENGINEER], and [CAMERA OPERATOR] lines display the Skill(s) and Certificate(s) columns, as shown in Figure 3.0.
Assign Dates by selecting all the Labor Positions [VIDEO ENGINEER], [AUDIO ENGINEER], and [CAMERA OPERATOR] > right-click > Assign Dates. The Estimated Work Time window is displayed.
Click Add New lines and click OK. The Dates get Assigned to all the Labor Positions [VIDEO ENGINEER], [AUDIO ENGINEER], and [CAMERA OPERATOR].

For the Labor Position [VIDEO ENGINEER] Skill(s) column, click the More icon. The Skills List window is displayed listing all the Proficiency Levels that are added in the R2 Labor application, as shown in Figure 3.1.
In the Skills List window, select the Active Only check box. All the Active Skills are displayed, as shown in Figure 3.1.
The Active Only check box is selected by default. When the Active Only check box is cleared, all the Skills that are Not Active or that are marked as False in the R2 Labor application are displayed.
Double-click and tag the Description [Expert], as shown in Figure 3.1.

The Description [Expert] is tagged and displayed in the Skill(s) column for the Labor Position [VIDEO ENGINEER], as shown in Figure 3.2.
Similarly repeat the Step 6 to Step 10 to tag the Skill(s) for the Labor Positions [AUDIO ENGINEER] with Skills [Advanced, Skilfull] and [CAMERA OPERATOR] with Skills [Experienced]. The tagged Skills are displayed in the drop-down, as shown in Figure 3.2.

For the Labor Position [VIDEO ENGINEER] Certificate(s) column, click the More icon. The Certification List window is displayed listing all the Certificates that are added in the R2 Labor application, as shown in Figure 3.3.
In the Certification List window, select the Active Only check box. All the Active Certificates are displayed, as shown in Figure 3.3.
The Active Only check box is selected by default. When the Active Only check box is cleared, all the Skills that are Not Active or that are marked as False in the R2 Labor application are displayed.
Double-click and tag the Description [Cinematic Video Specialist], as shown in Figure 3.3.

The Description [Cinematic Video Specialist] is tagged and displayed in the Certificates(s) column for the Labor Position [VIDEO ENGINEER].
Similarly repeat the Step 12 to Step 14 to tag the Certificates(s) for the Labor Positions [AUDIO ENGINEER] with Certificates [Multimedia Specialist, Lighting Specialist] and [CAMERA OPERATOR] with Certificates [Lighting Specialist]. The tagged Certificates are displayed in the drop-down, as shown in Figure 3.4.

Select the Labor Position [VIDEO ENGINEER] > right-click > Update Labor Line Details option. The Update Labor Line Details window is displayed with the Skills and Certificates fields where you can tag additional Skills and Certificates, as shown in Figure 3.5.
Select the Skills importable button. The Skills List window is displayed.
In the Skills List window, along with the existing Skill [Expert], tag another Skill [Proficient] and click OK.
The Skills field now displays 2 Skills [Expert] and [Proficient] with the check box selected, as shown in Figure 3.5.

Click Apply.
In the Order [CO6981405], the Labor Position [VIDEO ENGINEER] line's Skill(s) column displays the updated Skills [Expert] and [Proficient], as shown in Figure 3.5.

Select the View menu > Change History option. The Order History window is displayed.
Click the Line History icon. The Change History window is displayed.
The Search drop-down comprises of the search option Skill(s) and Certificate(s), as shown in Figure 3.6.
Select the Labor tab, the changes performed in Skills and Certificates are recorded and displayed in the Skill(s) and Certificate(s) columns, as shown in Figure 3.6.

The Skill(s) and Certificate(s) can only be tagged to the Labor Position and cannot be modified in the R2 application. The modifications to the Skill(s) and Certificate(s) can be performed only in the R2 Labor application.
Support for CIDs to Print Skills and Certificates from the Labor grid in the Order Print
New CIDs are used for printing the Labor Line Start Date and Labor Line End Date while generating the Order Print (generated using the ScreenID153500UI and PanelID 153201). The details of the additional CIDs are as given below:

In the Order [CO6981405], click the Print icon. The Form Type Options window is displayed, as shown in Figure 3.7.
In the Form Type Options window, select the Form [Skills and Certificates] and Preview In [Word / Word Viewer] and click Print, as shown in Figure 3.7.

The Order Print [CO6981405.1.rtf] gets downloaded.
The Order Print gets generated for the Order [CO6981405] displaying the Skills and Certificates columns, as shown in sample printout, as shown in Figure 3.8.

Adding Multiple Skills for the Crew Position in the R2 Labor Application
Log in to the R2 Labor Application.
Select the Planning module > Crew.
Search and Edit the Crew [James Hetfield].
Click the Add Position Icon > the Crew Labor window is displayed, as shown in Figure 4.0.
In the Crew Labor window, search and add the Labor Positions [AUDIO ENGINEER], [VIDEO ENGINEER], and [CAMERA OPERATOR] and click the Apply icon, as shown in Figure 4.0.

The Labor Positions [AUDIO ENGINEER], [VIDEO ENGINEER], and [CAMERA OPERATOR] are included in the Positions and Skills tab, as shown in Figure 4.1.

Search and tag the Skills in the Skills column for each of the Labor Positions [AUDIO ENGINEER], [VIDEO ENGINEER], and [CAMERA OPERATOR], as shown in Figure 4.2.

Select the optional Primary column as True and Hourly Cost and Effective From date, as shown in Figure 4.3.
All the entered Skills can be cleared at once by clicking the Clear Skills button, as shown in Figure 4.3.
The Skills for the selected Labor Positions can be removed by selecting the Labor Position check box and clicking the Remove Skills button, as shown in Figure 4.3.

Additional Skills for the selected Labor Positions can be appended by selecting the Labor Position [VIDEO ENGINEER] check box and click the Append additional skills button. The Append Additional Skills pop-up window is displayed, as shown in Figure 4.4.
In the Append Additional Skills pop-up window, search for the Skills [Advanced] and click the Apply button, as shown in Figure 4.4.
Multiple Skills can also be selected by selecting the check box, as shown in Figure 4.4.

The Skills [Advanced] gets appended to the Labor Position [VIDEO ENGINEER], as shown in Figure 4.5.

Adding a Certificate to Multiple Positions in the R2 Labor Application
In the Crew [James Hetfield] Edit screen, select the Certificates tab.
Click the Add Icon. A new line to attach a Certificate is added, as shown in Figure 5.0.

Select the Certification drop-down. Select the Certificate [Lighting Specialist], as shown in Figure 5.1.
The system displays only the Active Certificates.

The Certificate [Lighting Specialist] gets tagged, as shown in Figure 5.2.
Enter the Issued By [Lynda], select the Issued Date [01-Jan-2019] and Valid Till [30-April-2020], as shown in Figure 5.2.
Select the Positions drop-down and select one or multiple Positions [Camera Operator] and [Audio Engineer], as shown in Figure 5.2.

The Positions [Camera Operator] and [Audio Engineer] gets tagged, as shown in Figure 5.3.
The Crew can be searched based on the Certifications mapped and the Positions tagged.

Click the Pin icon in the Attach Certificates column, as shown in Figure 5.4.
The Open window is displayed. Browse and attach the Certificate [certificate_of_excellence_Lighting_Specialist.png] > click Open.
The Certificate [certificate_of_excellence_Lighting_Specialist.png] gets attached in the Attach Certificates column, as shown in Figure 5.4.

Clicking on the Pin icon, will download the attached Certificated on to the System (Computer).
Click the Save and Exit button to save and exit the Crew Edit window.
Repeat the above procedure to tag the Skills and Certificate for the Crews [Dickey Betts] and [Elmore James].
Viewing the Skills and Certificates applied to the Order from the R2 Labor application
Search for the Order [CO6981405].
Select the Order [CO6981405] and click the Planning button. The Planning Order screen is displayed.
For the Labor Position [AUDIO ENGINEER], in the floating menu bar, click the Search Resource button, as shown in Figure 6.0.

The Search Resource window is displayed with the default filtered Resource or Crew [James Hetfield] matching to the Skills [Skillful] [Advanced] and Certificates [Lighting Specialist] [Multimedia Specialist] tagged to the Labor Position [Audio Engineer], as shown in Figure 6.1.
Select the Resource [James Hetfield] and click the Send Availability Request icon to send the availability request, as shown in Figure 6.1.
Click the Apply icon, to apply the Resource [James Hetfield], as shown in Figure 6.1.

The Resource [James Hetfield] gets assigned to the Labor Position [Audio Engineer], as shown in Figure 6.2.

Select the Labor Position [Video Engineer] > right-click > Assign Resources option, as shown in Figure 6.3.

The Assign Resources window is displayed with the default filtered Resource or Crew [Elmore James] matching to the Skills [Proficient] [Expert] and Certificates [Cinematic Video Specialist] tagged to the Labor Position [Video Engineer], as shown in Figure 6.4.
Select the Resource [Elmore James] click the Apply icon, as shown in Figure 6.4.

The Resource [Elmore James] is assigned to the Labor Position [Video Engineer], as shown in Figure 6.5.
Similarly Assign the Resource or Crews [Dickey Betts] to the Labor Position [Camera Operator], as shown in Figure 6.5.

Select the Labor Position [Video Engineer] with the Assigned Resource [Elmore James] and click the More icon in the floating menu. The Booking Line More panel with the tagged Certificates [Cinematic Video Specialist] and Skills [Proficient, Expert] are displayed as read-only, as shown in Figure 6.6.

Close the More panel and Exit the Order [CO6981405].
