Transfer Orders

The Transfer Order can be effectively used for an order which can be used for creating an order for an item which may not be available in the order site but can be transferred from another business location.
You can also generate a Inventory Transfer which will permanently transfer the item from one location to another.
Types of Transfer Orders
In R2, you can create three types of transfer orders as below:
Standard Transfer Orders
The Standard Transfer Orders can be created for transferring an item from one business location to another with respect to the requirement in an order. You can create the standard transfer order as either one-way transfer order or two-way (Transfer Order with Return Transfer Order) .The two-way transfer order ensures that the item shall be returned on a specific date.
Inventory Transfer Orders:
The Inventory Transfer Order helps you to transfer an item permanently from one location to another (changes the home site of the item).
Jell-O-Shot Transfer Orders:
The Jell-O-Shot Transfer Orders are automatically created by the system for the items which are returned to different business location after completion of an Order process instead of the location where the item actually belongs to.
The Transfer order will be created for transferring the item from the returned location to the home site of the item. The Jell-O-Shot Transfer order will be auto-created only if the option 'Create Jell-O-Shot' is selected in the configuration settings.
