Sell Items in Transfer Order

Details

Support for the Sell Items in Transfer Order has been provided, when the Allow to Transfer Assign Sell Items on Order check box in the Configuration module > Warehouse tab is selected. Also, support for the Transfer Assign option in the Sale Order is provided when the Allow to Transfer Assign Sell Items on Order check box in the Configuration module is selected.

The functionality is explained in the below Sample Work Flow:  

Prerequisites

  1. Select the Configuration module > Warehouse tab.

  2. Select the Allow to Transfer Assign Sell Items on Order check box, as shown in Figure 1.0.

  1. Save and Exit the Configuration module.

  2. Relaunch the R2 application.

  3. Select the Site [SAN FRANCISCO].

  4. Select the Maintenance module > Items tab.

  5. Create Serial Items [FLOOR JACK] and [JACK PLANER] with 10 Qty each.

  6. Create the Serial Item [PIPE THAWERS] by selecting the Sell check box , 5 Qty stock , Repl. Cost Site [100.00] and Av. Cost Site [50.00], as shown in Figure 1.1.

  1. Save and Exit the Maintenance module.

Sample Workflow

Scenario I - Support for Single Sell Item in Transfer Order from Reservation

  1. Select the Site [NEW YORK].

  2. Select the Account module. Tag a Company [EVERGREEN AV RENTALS] and create a Rental Reservation Order [ORD-85].

  3. Search and add the Serial Item [PIPE THAWERS] with 2 Qty, Unit Price [500.00], and Action [Sell]. The Status is displayed as Not Available, as shown in Figure 2.0.

  1. Right-click the Item [PIPE THAWERS] line > Assign option > Transfer In option > User Assign option > Create new Transfer Order option  > OK. The Transfer Order Information dialog box is displayed.

  2. Create a Transfer In [TO#10] with the From Site [SAN FRANCISCO] and To Site [NEW YORK], as shown in Figure 2.1.

  1. Click the Availability button. The Availability - PIPE THAWERS window is displayed, as shown in Figure 2.2.

  1. Close the  Availability - PIPE THAWERS window.

  2. Exit the Transfer Order [TO#10].

  3. The Serial Item [PIPE THAWERS] Status within the Order [ORD-85] is displayed as T-Reserved, as shown in Figure 2.3.

  1. Exit the Order [ORD-85].

  2. Select the Site [SAN FRANCISCO].

  3. Select the Account module > Search Orders drop-down > Transfer Orders option. The Search Transfer Orders window is displayed.

  4. Search and open the Transfer Order [TO#10].

  5. Fill and Ship the Items, as shown in Figure 2.4.

  1. Save and Exit the Transfer Order [TO#10].

  2. Modify the Site [NEW YORK].

  3. Select the Account module > Search Orders drop-down > Transfer Orders option. The Search Transfer Orders window is displayed.

  4. Search and open the Transfer Order [TO#10]. The Transfer Order [TO#10] is displayed, as shown in Figure 2.5.

  5. Click the Receive Items icon. The Transfer Receive dialog box is displayed, as shown in Figure 2.5.

  6. Fill the Assets [PIPE THAWERS#01] and [PIPE THAWERS#02], as shown in Figure 2.5.

  1. Close the Transfer Receive dialog box.

  2. The Item [PIPE THAWERS] Status is modified to Received, as shown in Figure 2.6.

  1. Click the Availability icon. The Availability - PIPE THAWERS window is displayed, as shown in Figures 2.7.

  1. Exit the Availability - PIPE THAWERS window.

  2. Exit the Transfer Order [TO#10].

Scenario II - Support for Multiple Sell Items in Transfer Order from Sale Order

  1. Select the Site [NEW YORK].

  2. Select the Account module. Tag a Company [EVERGREEN AV RENTALS] and create a Sale Order.

  3. Search and add the Serial Items [FLOOR JACK] and [JACK PLANER] with 1 Qty and Action [Sell]. The Status is displayed as Not Available, as shown in Figure 3.0.

  1. Select the Actions menu > Assign option > Transfer Assign option, as shown in Figure 3.1.

  1. The Transfer Assign dialog box is displayed.

  2. Select the User Assign option > Create new Transfer Order option  > OK. The Transfer Order Information dialog box is displayed.

  3. Create a Transfer In [TO#11] with the From Site [SAN FRANCISCO] and To Site [NEW YORK], as shown in Figure 3.2.

  1. Exit the Transfer Order [TO#11].

  2. The Serial Items [FLOOR JACK] and [JACK PLANER] Status within the Sale Order [ORD-89] is displayed as T-Reserved, as shown in Figure 3.3.

  1. Exit the Order [ORD-89].

  2. Select the Site [SAN FRANCISCO].

  3. Select the Account module > Search Orders drop-down > Transfer Orders option. The Search Transfer Orders window is displayed.

  4. Search and open the Transfer Order [TO#11].

  5. Fill and Ship the Items, as shown in Figure 3.4.

  1. Save and Exit the Transfer Order [TO#11].

  2. Modify the Site [NEW YORK].

  3. Select the Account module > Search Orders drop-down > Transfer Orders option. The Search Transfer Orders window is displayed.

  4. Search and open the Transfer Order [TO#11]. The Transfer Order [TO#11] is displayed, as shown in Figure 3.5.

  5. Click the Receive Items icon. The Transfer Receive dialog box is displayed, as shown in Figure 3.5.

  6. Fill the Assets [FLOOR JACK#08] and [JACK PLANER#08], as shown in Figure 3.5.

  1. Close the Transfer Receive dialog box.

  2. The Items [FLOOR JACK] and [JACK PLANER] Status is modified to Received, as shown in Figure 3.6.

  1. Exit the Transfer Order [TO#11].

  2. Search and open the Sale Order [ORD-89] and click the Fill And Ship All button.

  3. The Items [FLOOR JACK] and [JACK PLANER] Status is modified to Sold, as shown in Figure 3.7.

  1. Exit the Sale Order [ORD-89].
