Support To Print Order Schedule Itinerary Task Comments In Order

Details

The system supports printing comments of corresponding Task set on the Labor line in Order print.

The details of the CIDs are provided in Table 1.0.

To Print Order Schedule Itinerary Task Comments

Prerequisites

Perform the Form Setup for  Order Schedule Itinerary Print in the Maintenance module. (If not done already).

  • Go to Maintenance module > Form Setup.

  • Click Edit/New button modify/add the print setup for Order Schedule Itinerary Task Comments, and select the Order Form[153500UI] and Panel ID [153200].

  • Save and Exit the Maintenance module.

Sample Scenario

  1. Open an Order [ORD-132], go to the Labor Tab, and add a required labor positions.

  2. For each of the added Labor positions, append the following details:

  1. Task Assigned to the labor position.

  1. Go to Schedules tab. Select the applicable schedule for the respective labor profiles.

  1. Click Edit icon to modify the order schedule information for the selected order. (As shown in the Figure 3.0).

  1. Use the search icon (Magnifying Glass) to add a description to the task, in the Order Schedule / Itinerary Edit Screen.

  2. From the Tasks screen, use the displayed list of tasks, to select a task for the previous screen.

  3. In the Order Schedule / Itinerary Edit Screen, click on the search icon (Magnifying Glass) for comments box, this opens the Comments box.  

  4. In the comments box, click the add comments icon to open the Comments edit screen.

  1. In Comments Edit Screen, (As shown in the Figure 5.0).

  1. Select the Printable checkbox, to enable the system Print this particular comment.

  2. Select the Always On Top checkbox to keep this comment at the top of the comment list.

  3. Use Can be Viewed By, option to select who all can view this comment.

  4. Use Can be Edited By, option to select who all can edit the comment already added.

  1. Once a comment has been added, it is displayed in the Comment Dialog box, in red color, along with Date/Time stamp mentioning the name of the user who added the comment.(As shown in the Figure 7.0).

  2. Use the exit icon to go back to the Order Schedule / Itinerary Edit Screen. The comment that was added, is now displayed in the comment box (As shown in the Figure 6.0).

  1. In the click Order Schedule / Itinerary Edit Screen Ok button to go back to the Order/Quote Screen.(As shown in the Figure 7.0).

  1. You can see the comment in this screen, in the comment box.

  2. To generate a report for this quote click the print icon.

  3. Use the form drop down list to select the relevant report template. Select the output format as Word or PDF.

  4. The report is generated, you can see the output in a new window.(As shown in the Figure 8.0).
