  1. ID Mandatory: identification for the labor position

  2. Active Whether or not the labor position is active

  3. Print on Order If the labor charge should print on the order/invoice

  4. Long Description Maximum of 2,000 characters

  5. Description Mandatory: describe the labor position, maximum of 100 characters

  6. Keywords Search for the labor position using this alternate set of descriptions

  7. UPC

  8. Allow

  9. Sub Rent Labor position can be sub hired if you cannot fill the position in-house Discount   Maximum per cent the labor charge can be discounted

  10. Commission Not used

  11. Report User definable grouping of labor positions for reporting purposes

  12. Department Labor department

  13. Tax Labor should be “Taxable” or “Non-Taxable”

  14. Expense GL When purchased, this GL code is used as an offset to payables

  15. Inventory GL  Not used

  16. Revenue GL When sold, this is the GL code that revenue will be sent to

  17. Discount GL If the item is discounted, the discount dollars will go to this GL code
