Recently, a new vulnerability was reported regarding the Spring Framework, an open-source framework for building enterprise Java applications. 

The vulnerability named as CVE-2022-22965 allows an attacker to get unauthenticated Remote Code Execution (RCE) access. The exploitation of this vulnerability could result in a webshell being installed onto the compromised server that allows further command execution.

The remedial action to address this vulnerability requires you to upgrade your Tomcat server, as per following instructions:

  • Users running 5.3 series version should upgrade to 5.3.18 or later.

  • Users running 5.2 series version should upgrade to 5.2.20 or later.

Bug Fixes

  1. SR-7840 — While duplicating Orders, system incorrectly add a few random labor lines, which did not exist in original R2 Order.

  2. SR-8481 — While editing the details of an event, and saving it as an event with existing EventID, system does not display relevant error message.

  3. SR-8151 — The new UI theme displays the same icon for Printing in 'Transfer Detail View' and 'Fill Order' screens.

  4. SR-7841 — System does not display EUV data for some specific SKU#, and throws ORA error instead.

  5. SR-7896 — Even if Auto-return is enabled, system fails to perform the step on order fill.

  6. SR-8456 — 'Transportation Logistics' shows previous 'Transit Mode' when Shipping Method is modified in a PO.

Bug Fixes

  1. SR-5666 — If the message sent in R2 to Crew have attachments, system fails to deliver them.

  2. SR-6549 — System incorrectly jumbles the Position Description, whenever Synchronize and update Planned hours step is used.

  3. SR-7508 — Some UDFs added to Crew Profile go missing, when system is upgraded to 06.01.17-00 or beyond.

  4. SR-7801 — System showcases a sync issue between Timesheet and Planning Order.

  5. SR-8028 — If the custom message entered in an e-mail is unusually lengthy, the system curtails some portion of it.

API

Improvements

  1. Response of the Order POST, PUT, and Convert Order method returns the entire object.

    When a new object is created or an existing one is update through an API, the system will now return the entire object along with all the values that were entered.

    This is very similar to when upon submitting an online form, it is displayed back to the user for validation purpose that all entered values were captured correctly, and there are no typographical or syntactical error.

  2. Project ID to consider Site IDS setup while creating a project. (R2-18866)

Mobile Apps

Improvements

  1. Payment terms set on the order is displayed in Prep, Dispatch, Receive windows. (R2-18781)

  2. Deployment of R2 Mobile APIs now is easy.

    Moving away from older method of manual deployment, R2 Mobile APIs are available for automated deployment using MSI packages.

    Since MSI package support silent installation, if required business' can have multiple environments (Test, Production, R&D etc.) running in parallel without any external intervention.

    The installation instructions sent along with concerned MSI packages, have also been updated with relevant document.

  3. Setting up R2Media path during the Mobile Apps installation itself.

    The required files for R2Media path setup (R2MediaConfig files) have been included in MobileAppServices.zip.

Bug Fixes

  1. SR-7696 — Shipping & Returning Site not set for add and prep Assets in Warehouse/Yard App.

  2. SR-7893 — The Asset Manager app does not allow to return assets using their additional Asset IDs.

  3. SR-8013 — Asset Manager app does not permit to scan more then 50 items at one go.
