Components of a Rule

While creating a Rule, we have to provide the following details:

• Specify the Data Source the rule will use to fetch the values of the fields to be used in validation.

• Specify the Validation condition, these are the logical operators using which the comparison of the field value is done.

• Chose the Delivery Mode (Desktop Notification or Email Alerts). This selection, whether the notifications have to be sent on-screens as popups or as Alert E-mails.

  • Provide the Recipient information.

  • Design the Message Template (in case of E-mails).

The option to select the ‘Delivery Mode’ is applicable only for rules configured for R2 Labor.
In R2 CRM, alerts are configurable to be sent as E-mails.
