In a nutshell, Planning Order can be equated with a dashboard, that provides every specific information on a Single Order. You can plan the labor like assigning the resource, communicate with them, view the order details and lot more..

Save and exit | Saves and exits the Planning Order window. |
History | Displays the planning history. |
Comments | To add the comments for the resource like labor comments, travel info, etc., |
Timesheet export | Exports the timesheet. |
Close | Closes the Planning Order |
Header
The information related to the Order like Order no, order dates etc., displays here.
Here, you can view the order details which are being directed from R2. There are seven tabs which provides the info of various aspects on the Order.

Tabs | Description |
Order Information | Order information like Order No, Charge Start Date, Project etc., All the fields are read only except Pay Policy and Labor Planner fields. |
Dates | Order dates like Charge Start date, Charge End Date, Prep Date, etc., are displayed here. |
Customer and Contact information | Customer and Contact details. |
Tasks | Displays the tasks created in R2 for the order. You can also create and tag to the booking line from Planning Order. |
Event | The event details displays if tagged on order in R2. |
Shipping | Shipping information. |
Equipment | The items added on the order. |
Other | Displays the additional details of the Order including the UDFs defined in the Order. Know more on viewing UDFs? |
Booking line
To plan the crew like the start date and end date of the job, resource assigned to the task etc.,
Here, you can view the labor positions required for the order and can do the planning by assigning appropriate crew for the position based on their skills, and availability.

Booking line records: Displays the booking line data as shown below.
Grid toolbar: Allows to perform actions for multiple booking lines in one go.
Status filter: To filter the booking line based on the resource booking status.
Filter: To search the a specific record using the various filter criteria.
Booking line records
You will see the Booking line data in the grid.

Tabs | Description |
BS (Booking status) | Indicates the status of the booking line through an icon. |
Actions | Pops up a list of actions to perform on the selected booking line. Know more? |
Position | Labor position required on the order. |
Status | Status of the labor position (Assigned, Unassigned, Confirmed, Re-confirmed.) |
Resource | Resource assigned for the labor position. |
Task | Displays the respective task required to perform by the Resource. Also, when an EWT is split, the task tagged is cleared on both original booking line and the split line know more?. |
Start Date | Start date of the job. |
End Date | End date of the job. |
Skills | Skills of the selected resource. Know more? |
Unit | Unit for the booking line. Along with existing units, a new unit- Fixed in introduced. |
Certificates | Certificates of the resource (if any). |
Resource Types | Type of the resource tagged (Freelancer, Inhouse, Inhouse, Broker, Union, etc.,) |
Rate | Rate of the resource. |
CT | Displays an icon if any conflicts in booking the resource. More info.. |
Duration | Duration of the job. |
RT | Regular time for the job. RT is picked based on the resource type selected. |
Total | Total amount to pay the resource for the job. |
TS | Displays an icon if Timesheet already exists. |
CM | Displays comments if any. More.. |
BH | Indicates an icon if any break hours conflict occurred. Know more? |
MB | Indicates an icon if the resource is booked multiple times. |
CS | To notify you that e-mail communication is sent to the resource. |
NE | To notify you that e-mail is received from the resource |
DC | Displays if any date is conflicted. |
Company | Displays company the resource belong to |

Per Diem | Displays the per diem amount. |
Notes | Displays the notes (if any) more.. |
Actions on booking line
Following are the available actions that you can perform on a single booking line.

Tool bar | Description |
Assign Dates | To generate the Estimated Work time for the booking line. |
Booking View | To view the complete details of the timesheet, message conversation, hourly booking details along with the history of the booking line. These are just to track the details of conversation, timesheet etc., and are view only. |
Clear Resource | Clears the assigned resource from the booking line. |
Comments | To provide comments for the resource, travel, dress code etc., |
More Info | More details on the booking line is available like Rate and company of the resource, travel and per diem details etc., |
Re-number Position | Renumber the labor position. |
Reset | Resets the booking line information. |
Reset Task/Dates | Resets the task/dates from the booking lines. |
Search resource | Search the resource and assign to the job, |
Send Availability Request | To check the availability of the resource. This sends an e-mail to the tagged resource asking to check on the availability on the said dates. More.. |
Send Confirmation Request | To confirm the availability of the resource. This sends an e-mail to the tagged resource asking to confirm the availability on the said dates. Know more? |
Send Message | To communicate with the resource. This sends a message to the tagged resource. More.. |

Following are the actions that you can do on a booking line. This tool bar allows to perform actions for multiple booking lines at one go.
