Creating Report Table / View
Table of Contents
In the Table/ View tab the user will be able to add a display name for a particular Table/View Name with required fields for the View. This is the first step in Configuration of Custom Reports, a Report Definition cannot be crated without creating a Table View.
To add/Edit a report def
In the Table/View tab of the Report Assistant Configuration window, click on Add.
The 'Add/ Edit Table Definition' window will be displayed.

Select a Source Name from the drop-down list (on selecting the source, system will display the fields of the source in the View Fields section.)
Select the fields from the' View Fields' section and click on the Add button to add to the Selected Fields section.
Define a display name in the Table/View Name field for the selected fields of the selected source.
On clicking on 'OK' will display a dialog with the question to add another and options Yes and No.
Clicking on 'Yes' will allow you to add another; clicking 'No' will exit and save the currently defined table/View Name
Field Information Of Table / View Tab
Display Name
Displays the name defined for the View.
Table/View Name
Displays the Table/ View name.
Field Name
Displays the field name selected for the Table/View.
Data Type
Displays the data type of the field.
Display label
Displays the name defined for the field to be displayed in the Report.
Look Up Name
Displays the Look up name defined for a particular field of a Table/View.
Disp. Width
Displays the default width defined for the particular field in the Report.

Fields
On selecting a field and clicking on the Fields button will display the 'Edit Report Table/ View Fields' dialog, where you can edit the display name, Disp. width and a Lookup name for the Selected field name.
Add
On Clicking on the 'Add' button displays the 'Add/ Edit Table Definition' dialog, where you can add a Display Name for a Table view and select required fields for the Report.

Edit
On Clicking on the 'Edit' button displays the 'Add/ Edit Table Definition' dialog, where you can edit the Display name for the selected Table /View and will be able to add and remove fields for the Selected Fields sections.
Delete
On selecting a Display name of a Table/View in the grids and then on clicking on the delete button will delete the selected Display name of a Table/View from the grids.
Refresh
On clicking on the Refresh button will refresh the window with the currently made changes.
Close
On clicking on the close button will close the whole Reports Assistant Configuration window.
