Probability Mandatory on Orders

The enhancement essentially helps to manage business operations by providing better visibility into the likelihood of orders proceeding, especially when those orders are tying up inventory resources. This enhancement makes the Probability field available and configurable as mandatory for Rental Orders, regardless of the order's status (Quote, Hold, Reservation, etc.).

Key points to note:

• Enhanced Probability field choices include a new 'blank' option along with existing percentage values (0% to 100%)

• Mandatory field validation ensures non-blank probability values when configured

• API support for mandatory Probability field validation

• Special handling for automated order creation (Event Orders, EUV/AUV, Duplicate Orders) with blank default values

• EquipFinder app continues to set default 0% probability

To use this feature enable Probability field in Maintenance > Employee > Defaults module.

1. A new "Probability" field is added under Order > Information section.

2. Select Probability options from dropdown:

   • Blank or 0% to 100%

Order behaviour When Probability is Mandatory:

• System will error out if blank value is selected

• Mandatory check applies to all order statuses

• The field label will appear in blue to indicate it's mandatory
