Actions In My Activity Window

The Activity window can help you three major tasks done. You can create, edit, follow-up on - E-mails, Tasks, and Meetings.

You can set reminders on tasks, add notes to appointments

Creating Emails

  1. Click Email icon to open the New E-mail dialog.

  2. In the TO field enter the E-mail address of message recipient.

  3. In the Subject field enter the subject of the message.

  4. Click on the add attachment icon  to add attachment for the E-mail.

    1. To delete an attachment, Click on Remove attachment icon  by selecting the attached file name.

  1. Enter the text of the message.

  2. Select send icon to send the mail. Click save icon to save the current message 

Creating a New Task

  1. Click on the New Task icon  to open the Task window.

  2. Enter the subject of the task in the Subject field.

  3. Select the Task start date and Task due date.

  4. In the Assigned To field, select the employee to whom the task is assigned to.

  5. In the Status field, update the status of the task.

    1. Status options are — Not Started, In Progress, Completed, and Deffered.

  1. Enter the task details.

  2. Click on Exit icon to exit the Task window.

  3. R2 will display a prompt for saving the changes. Click 'Yes' to save, 'No' to discard changes.

  4. On selecting 'Yes' the new task created will be displayed in the activity main window.

Creating a New Appointment

  1. Click on the New Appointment icon  to open the Appointment dialog.

  2. G to the 'General' Tab:

    1. In the Assigned To field, select the employee to whom the appointment is assigned to.

    2. Give a subject line to your appointment.

    3. Select a start date and end date for the appointment.

  3. If required, select the 'Set'  checkbox, and then select the 'Duration. of the reminder.

  4. Go to 'Notes' tab and click the Add button to open the 'Comments' dialog to Add new notes for the appointments.

    1. Click 'Ok' to close this dialog box and go back to the main screen.

  1. If required go to 'Attachments' tab and click the Add button to open the 'File Select Dialog Box' to select and add the attachment file.

    1. Click 'Ok' to close this dialog box and go back to the main screen.

    2. Click OK.

Marking an Appointment Done

Select the 'Done' option to mark an appointment as done/completed.
