R2

Improvements

  1. View 'Notes' in Warehouse Prep Task window, similar to Order Line. (R2-20573)

The dispatch team while prepping the Order might need much more information about the items added to the Order, than just their Item ID, Asset ID, Description, Quantity etc. Such information or any additional dispatch/packaging/handling related details can be added in the 'NOTES' column.

Now the same information can be view in the Warehouse Prep Task, so that the team preparing the Order's dispatch can read those details without having to Open another window.

  2. Recalling a Purchase Order now made easy. (R2-20686)

Until now, whenever you had to recall a PO, you would make changes to it, and then resubmit it.

However, now the process has been simplified. Re-call can be done at the touch of a button.

And once a PO is recalled, you can choose to make the required changes to it and re-submit if needed.

  3. EUV/AUV Show hourly based availability same as the Availability Calendar.  (R2-20807)

Lets learn in more detail about how the availability of a Package is calculated Here

  4. New message displayed while returning excess quantity. (R2-20926)

To Err is human, and this feature warns you when you make one.

While returning inventory items that were sent out on Order, you may accidently 'return' an item that could extra or does not belong.

Through this feature we display a basic on-screen warning when any excess quantity of an item is returned.

  5. Package Availability now calculated considering Transfer Orders. (R2-20933)

Critical Components - A specific part of a Kit, without which the rest of it practically useless.

So, obviously, if a child item within a Kit, is tagged as 'Non-critical', then its availability status, should not impact the wholesome availability of the Parent Kit.

So, let's say, there is a an Item 'X', which is available in 5 quantities, and is tagged as Critical for Kit#1, and Non-critical for Kit#2, and each kit is needed in 5 quantities.

How many complete units, of Kit#1 and Kit#2 do we have?. Answer is simple enough - 5.

However, this calculation can be complex it there are multiple hierarchy of child items and there are many such permutations of Kits.

Lets learn in more detail about how the availability of a Package is calculated Here

Mobile Apps

Improvements

  1. Returning things to their verified and original location. (R2-20943)

Organizing books in a library meticulously can be tedious task, if books are not returned to the shelf they were picked-up from.

A similar problem can be applicable to a Warehouse, where items have been organized, categorized, placed in a catalogued pattern.

Each item has its location data, and each location has its index data. Both of which should match.

And that what we have implemented in the Warehouse App. Read more about the feature Here
