Define Rule
A Rule is a set of instructions that makes decisions based on specific conditions. When certain conditions are met, the rule triggers notification. It’s like a formula that tells the system what to do when something happens.
Navigate to Main Menu > BRE > Rules > Click Create or select any existing row to edit Rule.
Create Rule screen is displayed.

Fill the following fields to define a Rule:
Rule name: This field specifies the identifier of any rule, enter the rule name in the text field.
Defined For Entity: This field specifies which entity or object the rule applies to within the system, select an entity from dropdown like orders, purchase orders, customers etc.,
Notify On: This field specifies the delivery method for rule-triggered notifications, select via email or through an internal labor portal from dropdown.
Labor Portal: As a pop-up message on the R2 Labor UI.
Email: To the recipient’s inbox based on the recipient settings.
Active: This field specifies whether the rule is active or inactive.
Active: Specifies whether you want to apply this rule, select this if you wean to keep the rule active.
Inactive: Specifies whether you doesn't want to apply the rule, select this if you wean to keep the rule inactive.
Save: Once the rule is defined, you click on the Save button.
Save and Create: Saves the current rule, condition, or configuration and then immediately opens a new screen to create rule.
Scheduler: The scheduler controls when or how often the rule should be executed. It can be set to run at specific intervals or based on a recurring schedule. Click here to know more…

Conditions: Conditions define the criteria that need to be satisfied for the rule to trigger an action.
When to Execute?: This field determines the timing of when the rule should execute, based on the conditions.
Recipients: Recipients define who should receive the notification or alert triggered by the rule.
Labor Portal Alert Template: This field specifies the format and content template for the alert, which is displayed on a labor portal interface.
Message Templates: This field defines the text that will be included in the alert messages sent to recipients.
Scheduler: The scheduler controls when or how often the rule should be executed. It can be set to run at specific intervals or based on a recurring schedule.
