  1. Prep/Fill:

    • Prep (Preparation) involves getting items ready for fulfillment. This can include tasks like labeling, packaging, sorting, and quality checking products to ensure they are ready to be picked and shipped.

    • Fill refers to the process of selecting and gathering the correct items for a customer order or internal transfer. After picking, the items are packed into containers or boxes for shipment or transfer.

  2. Ship:

    • This process involves dispatching orders to customers or transferring goods between locations. It includes packaging the items, labeling them with shipping information, and sending them out for delivery to their final destination.

  3. Return:

    • This operation deals with processing returned goods. When customers send items back or there’s an issue with products, the return process involves inspecting the items and add items to the return order.

  4. Batch Return:

    • A batch return refers to the return process applied to a group of items, typically when multiple items or orders are returned at once. It involves processing the return for several items together.
