Returning Lost and Missing Assets in Return Multiple Orders Window

Details

The support has been provided for returning the Lost or Missing Assets in Multiple Orders from the Warehouse module > Actions > Return / Receive Item.

The details are explained in the sample workflow given below:

Prerequisites

Select the Maintenance module > Items tab.
Create Serial Items [SONY CONSOLE], [SONY WIRELESS HP], [SONY MDR], [LG STAR], [LG LSA] and [LG WM] and receive some Qty.
Create a Project [Project Summer Shows].
Create two Orders [ORD-1297] and [ORD-1298] in the Site [SANFRANCISCO]
Create another Order [ORD-1299] in the Site [DALLAS].
Add Items and then fill and ship all Items in these Orders, as shown in Figure 1.1, Figure 1.2, and Figure 1.3.

In the Order [ORD-1297], select the View menu > Return Order option. The ORD-1297 Return Order window is displayed.
Mark the Assets as Lost and Missing, as shown in Figure 1.3.

Sample Workflow

Scenario 1

Returning Lost/Missing Asset of a tagged Order from the same Site

The first scenario explains about returning the Lost/Missing Asset of a tagged Order from the same Site.

Login to the R2 application in the Site [SANFRANCISCO].
Select Warehouse module > Actions > Return / Receive Item or press CTRL + R from your keyboard. The Return/Receive Item dialog box is displayed, as shown in the Figure 1.1.
Select the Project ID importable button and tag the Project ID [PROJ-005], as shown in the Figure 1.1.
Click List Order(s) Of Projects button the Order [ORD-1297] is displayed, as shown in the Figure 1.1.
Select the Order [ORD-1297] and click the Next button.

The Return Multiple Orders window is displayed, as shown in the Figure 1.2.

Enter the Asset ID [SONY MDR#05] in the Enter ID field that is in Lost status in the selected Order [ORD-1297] and press Enter key using the Keyboard.
The system displays a prompt with the message "R2_01709:Asset SONY MDR#05 is Lost on Order ORD-1297-First Order-EVERGREEN AV RENTALS." with "Apply this setting to all future scans in this session" check box along with Mark as IN and Do Nothing buttons, as shown in Figure 1.3.

Select the "Apply this setting to all future scans in this session" check box and click the Mark as IN button.
The Asset will be returned to the Warehouse Site [SANFRANCISCO] by modifying the Asset Status as IN with the Current Site unchanged to Site [SANFRANCISCO].

The same selections of Mark as IN button is applicable for any further scan of the Serial Items of the tagged Order without the prompt display, until the Return Multiple Orders window is closed.

Scenario 2

Returning Lost/Missing Asset of tagged Order from a different Site

The second scenario explains the returning Lost/Missing Asset of tagged Order from a different Site.

Login to the R2 application in the Site [DALLAS].
Select Warehouse module > Actions > Return / Receive Item or press CTRL + R from your keyboard. The Return/Receive Item dialog box is displayed, as shown in the Figure 1.1.
Select the Project ID importable button and tag the Project ID [PROJ-005], as shown in the Figure 1.1.
Click List Order(s) Of Projects button the Order [ORD-1297] is displayed, as shown in the Figure 1.1.
Select and tag the Order [ORD-1297] and click the Next button.

The Return Multiple Orders window is displayed, as shown in the Figure 1.2.

Enter the Asset ID [SONY MDR#03] in the Enter ID field, that is in Lost status in the selected Order [ORD-1297] and press Enter key using the Keyboard.
The system displays a prompt with the message "R2_01708:Asset SONY MDR#03 is Lost on Order ORD-1297-First Order-EVERGREEN AV RENTALS at SANFRANCISCO." with "Apply this setting to all future scans in this session" check box along with Mark as IN and Do Nothing buttons, as shown in Figure 1.3.

Select the "Apply this setting to all future scans in this session" check box and click the Mark as IN button.
The Asset ID [SONY MDR#03] is marked as returned in Order [ORD-1297] and is returned to the Warehouse Site [DALLAS] by modifying the Asset Status as IN with the Current Site changed to Site [DALLAS].

The same selections of Mark as IN button is applicable for any further scan of the Serial Items of tagged Order without the prompt display, until the Return Multiple Orders window is closed.

Scenario 3

Returning Lost/Missing Asset of other Order in the same Site

The third scenario explains the returning of the Lost/Missing Asset of other Order in the same Site.

Login to the R2 application in the Site [SANFRANCISCO].
Select Warehouse module > Actions > Return / Receive Item or press CTRL + R from your keyboard. The Return/Receive Item dialog box is displayed, as shown in the Figure 1.1.
Select the Project ID importable button and tag the Project ID [PROJ-005], as shown in the Figure 1.1.
Click List Order(s) Of Projects button the Order [ORD-1298] is displayed, as shown in the Figure 1.1.
Select the Order [ORD-1298] and click the Next button.

Enter the Asset ID [SONY MDR#04] in the Enter ID field that is in Lost status in the Order [ORD-1297] and press Enter key using the Keyboard.
The system displays a prompt with the message "R2_01721:Asset SONY MDR#04 is not on selected Orders. It is Lost on Order ORD-1297-First Order-EVERGREEN AV RENTALS." with "Apply this setting to all future scans in this session" check box along with Return Asset on Order and Do Nothing buttons, as shown in Figure 1.3.

Select the "Apply this setting to all future scans in this session" check box and click the Return Asset on Order button.
The Asset ID [SONY MDR#04] is marked as returned in Order [ORD-1297] and is returned to the Warehouse Site [SANFRANCISCO] by modifying the Asset Status as IN with the Current Site remains unchanged to [SANFRANCISCO].

The same selections of Return Asset on Order button is applicable for any further scan of the Serial Items that are not in this tagged Order without the prompt display, until the Return Multiple Orders window is closed.

Scenario -4

Returning Lost/Missing Asset of other Order in a different Site

The fourth scenario explains the returning of the Lost/Missing Asset of other Order in a different Site.

Login to the R2 application in the Site [DALLAS].
Select Warehouse module > Actions > Return / Receive Item or press CTRL + R from your keyboard. The Return/Receive Item dialog box is displayed, as shown in the Figure 1.1.
Select the Project ID importable button and tag the Project ID [PROJ-005], as shown in the Figure 1.1.
Click List Order(s) Of Projects button the Order [ORD-1297] is displayed, as shown in the Figure 1.1.
Select and tag the Order [ORD-1299] and click the Next button.

The Return Multiple Orders window is displayed, as shown in the Figure 1.1.

Enter the Asset ID [SONY WIRELESS HP#05] in the Enter ID field, that is in Missing status in the Order [ORD-1297] and press the Enter key using the Keyboard.
The system displays a prompt with the message "R2_01720: The Asset SONY WIRELESS HP#05 is not on selected Orders. It is Missing on Order ORD-1297-First Order-EVERGREEN AV RENTALS at SANFRANCISCO." with "Apply this setting to all future scans in this session" check box along with Return Asset on Order and Do Nothing buttons, as shown in Figure 4.2.

Select the "Apply this setting to all future scans in this session" check box and click the Return Asset on Order button.
