Content for entire Security Module was refurbished.

 

Employees in a company will have different designations. In R2 these designations are referred to as Positions.

You can give or restrict PO releasing authority to employees based on their positions.

To set a Position

  1. Click the Position button to displays a Position dialog with the existing Position records.

  1. Double Click on any existing position line you want to set.

    1. To add a new position click Add and double click on the line and enter the desired value in Position text box.

  2. Click OK after selecting the Position.

  3. The Position will be added in the Allow field of PO Policies dialog.

  4. To exit without saving, click Cancel.

The Employee corresponding to the Position chosen will be displayed in the PO Policies main window.

If multiple Positions and Employees are selected, then all these will be displayed in the same line in the PO Policies main window.
