Exclude the Filled Items to avoid discrepancy

Details

The support has been provided to exclude the Serial and Non-Serial Items in Filled Status in the Physical Inventory Discrepancy window.

The following other features have also been supported in the Physical Inventory module.

  • The Consider Filled As section with the In and Filled radio buttons have been included in the Physical Inventory module > New icon > Physical Inventory window.

  • The Type drop-down and the Consider Filled As drop-down has also been supported in the Physical Inventory window.

  • The Consider Filled As column has been included in the Physical Inventory window.

The details are explained in the sample workflow given below:

Prerequisites

  1. Select the Maintenance module > Items tab.

  2. Create a Serial Item [JBL FREE] receive 5 Qty of Assets [JBL FREE#01], [JBL FREE#02], [JBL FREE#03], [JBL FREE#04], and [JBL FREE#05].

  3. Create Non-Serial Item [JBL E55BT] receive 5 Qty.

  4. Save and Exit the Maintenance module.

Sample Workflow

  1. Select the Account module. The Account window is displayed.

  2. Tag a Company [JBL] and create a Rental Reservation Order [ORD-992] for 2 days duration.

  3. Search and add the Serial Item [JBL FREE] with 3 Qty.

  4. Search and add the Non-Serial Item [JBL E55BT] with 3 Qty.

  5. Fill and Ship some Items. The Order [ORD-994] comprises of Items in Filled, Out, and Reserved Statuses, as shown in Figure 1.0.

  1. Select the Non-Serial Item [JBL E55BT] line and click the Availability icon. The Availability is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.1.

  1. Select the Serial Item [JBL FREE] line and click the Availability icon. The Availability is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.2.

  1. Save and Exit the Order [ORD-994].

  2. Select the Physical Inventory module > New icon. The Physical Inventory window is displayed.

  3. Enter the Physical Inv ID [JBL SERIAL].

  4. Select the Handled By [MANTRA], Site [SANFRANCISCO], the Item radio button, and the Filled radio button within the Consider Filled As section,  as shown in Figure 1.3.

  1. Click OK.

  2. The Search Items window is displayed.

From this step forward, the workflow bifurcates for Serial and Non-serial.

Both have been documented separately below.
