View a Project’s UDF values from Project Search

Details

Now, you need not edit a Project record to view its UDF values.

We have given a new UDF button on Project Search Window. You can select a Project record on the search grid and click this button to view the corresponding UDF values. You can also edit these UDF values conveniently from here.

When more than one project is selected on the search grid, on click of UDF button, you will see the UDF values of first selected Project in the list.

Pre-requisites

Project UDFs must have been defined either in Maintenance or in Configuration module.

Sample Workflow

1. Open Project Search window from Accounts module.

2. Select a Project from the search list.

3. Click on the new UDF button (marked in red) in the toolbar.

4. Corresponding Project UDFs will be displayed in a popup window.

The titlebar of the popup window will also show the Project ID, for which the UDFs are being displayed.

For Example: In the Figure 1.0 three projects were selected. However, the project with ID 'ID1501684219' is the first in the list. Thus, the UDFs for this Project have been displayed in Figure 2.0.
