Keeping the inventory records updated at all times turns out to be the best strategy to remain profitable.
As the proverb goes 'Count your chicken before they hatch'. It is always advisable to keep their inventory register abreast about all 'Missing, Lost, Damaged, Malfunctioning, or Under-repair' items.
To fill the same gap, a new custom report has been designed, that provides a ready reckoner about all the serial assets and non-serial items that are marked as Missing, Lost, Damaged, Sold, and/or Retired; irrespective of whether they are part of any order or not.
The fields that are included in the custom view created to enable this report are:

Replacement Cost | Cost of replacing the Item/Asset with a fresh inventory |

Status | Item or Asset's assignment status |
Current Location | Current location of the Item/Asset |
Status Date | Date on which the last known status was noted |
Last Order Date | Date on which the last Order was processed |
Profit Center (Business Unit) | Profit Center to which the last contract was tagged |
Remarks | Any remarks noted about the Order/ Item or Asset |
