Sort Priority Search Support for Items, Labors, and Kits

Details

Support for Sort Priority Search option is provided in Search Inventory, Search Items, Search Labor, and Search Kits windows. The details are explained in the sample workflow given below:

Prerequisites

Perform the following the steps:

Select the Maintenance module.
Edit the below Items and provide the Sort Priority numbers as follows:

Edit the below Kits and provide the Sort Priority numbers as follows:

Edit the below Labor Positions and provide the Sort Priority numbers as follows:

Save and Exit the Maintenance module.

Sample Workflow

Select the Maintenance module > Items tab.
Select the Search drop-down as Sort Priority, as shown in Figure 1.0.

Select the Search drop-down as Sort Priority with Sort By drop-down as Ascending and Search for the Items.
The Items in the Maintenance window > Items tab is displayed sorted based on the Sort Priority numbers, as displayed in Table 1.0 and as shown in Figure 1.1.

Click the Advanced button. The Advance Search window is displayed.
Select the Search drop-down to view the Sort Priority option, as shown in Figure 1.2.

Select the Account module > Search menu > Items option. The Search Items window is displayed.
Select the Search drop-down as Sort Priority with Sort By drop-down as Ascending and Search for the Items.
The Items in the Maintenance window > Items tab is displayed sorted based on the Sort Priority numbers, as displayed in Table 1.0 and as shown in Figure 1.3.

Select the Search Inventory module > Items check box.
Select the Search drop-down as Sort Priority with Sort By drop-down as Ascending and Search for the Items. The Items in the Search Inventory window is displayed sorted based on the Sort Priority numbers, as displayed in Table 1.0 and as shown in Figure 1.4.

Exit the Search Inventory window.
Similarly repeat the above steps to Sort Priority for Labor Positions and Kits. The Labor Positions and Kits are displayed sorted based on the Sort Priority numbers, as displayed in Table 1.1 and Table 1.2 and as shown in Figures, as mentioned in Table 2.0.

The Sort Priority Search option support for Items and Labor is also provided in the Service module that can be navigated from the following paths:

Service module > Search menu > Items option > Items window , and
Service module > Search menu > Labor option > Search Labors window.
