Equipment Usage View (EUV) now enables ‘Sort by Priority’ option if multiple Items are selected

Details

The EUV (Equipment Usage View),  AUV (Asset Usage View), and APV (Asset Projection View) window, will have the selected Items sorted by their ‘Sort Priority’ in the product section, so that you can now easily follow the progression from one product to the other. By default, the items are arranged in ‘Ascending’ order of their ‘Sort Priority’.

In this feature, the ‘Sorting’ order is always a combined hierarchical sort of the following in ‘Ascending Order’:

  1. First Level - Product's Sort Priority

  2. Second Level - Site Name

  3. Third Level - Product ID

The items which do not have ‘Sort Priority’ defined, will be listed in the end.

Sample Workflow

  1. Go to ‘Search Inventory’ and list items based on ‘Sort Priority.’

  2. Select a few items from the shown list and click on ‘Equipment Usage View’ button.

  3. The EUV window displays the selected items listed in their ‘Sort Priority’ order.

    • If in the ‘Search Inventory’ window, you had selected ‘All Sites’ then the items are listed across the ‘Site’ arranged in alphabetical order.

In the EUV Window, if ‘Group By’ is select as ‘Nothing’ then the items are displayed across various/selected sites grouped together in their ‘Sort Priority’ order. Followed by the sites arranged in alphabetical order, and their Product IDs in increasing order.

For example: Consider the following items listed in ascending order of their ‘Sort Priority.’

  • Since the ‘Sort Priority’ for both the Product ID ‘SK015103’ and ‘SK015097’ is same, they will be further arranged in ascending order of  Product ID, as explained above.

  • Since the 'Sort Priority' for the Product ID 'SK015094' is left blank, will result in the Product 'Fujitsu Think Pad' listed in the end of EUV window.
