Introduction

R2 allows two types of kits: serial and non-serial. Both serial and non-serial kits allow you to add serial items.

The distinction is that a serial kit has specific items and quantities locked to it. A serial kit must be dispatched using a single serial ID you assign each of these kits and the items within each of these kits cannot be interchanged with other items.

A non-serial kit does not force you to lock items to it. Upon dispatching the kit, you are required to scan every item going into it, since the items and quantities are not fixed in the same way as a serial kit.
