How to Delete/Regenerate Meeting Rooms

For the 1st scenario, the only way to delete room orders is to re-generate rooms after the room was deleted from the rooms tab. However, user needs to only select one room when re- generating room orders. I suggest user selects the room that matches the template and then re- generate room orders.

Example:

Room 1 – matches template

Room 2 – has been modified and doesn’t match template

Room 3 – Room to be deleted

User would delete Room 3, then check the update box for Room 1 only and then re-generate room orders. If no rooms match the template then select the room that has the least modifications to be updated. The user will then just have one room to fix.

The above is a workaround. Perhaps development can provide an enhancement to allow users to delete a room without having to re-generate rooms.

For the 2nd scenario deleted sessions are restored when regenerating rooms within the room.

For example:

Room 1 – 4 sessions

Room 2 – 4 sessions

Room 3 – 3 sessions (one of the sessions was deleted in centric view)

User must be in Room Order view and Room 3 needs to be selected (needs to be in blue) . User can then click on Generate Room Orders. The 4th session will be restored.
