This feature was introduced to help the user avoid any accidental or unintentional delete operation. The objective is to inform the user and seek a consent regarding completing the step.
Security Override Features
After a delete operation, While exiting a screen, the user might be prompted to opt for a save operation. At this point, if the user chooses not to save the changes, the delete action is reverted.
An additional security setting within R2, disables or overrides this prompt.
To enable this override – Press F6 Key to enable Security Settings. This security setting allows a user tagged to a specific user group, to have/not have privilege to delete items by overriding the 'Confirmation Dialog'.
An override could mean – If the security override is enabled, the user will not get the prompt to 'Confirm The Deletion. So, in such setting, the deletion step becomes the default action.
