Transportation Logistics Introduction

The Transportation Logistics Module allows the user to effectively organize the transportation of items to/from a location. The Transportation of items can be organized by creating Transportation schedules based on the Warehouse Tasks such as Ship, Pickup and Receive Tasks. The created Transportation schedule can be then assigned to a Vehicle.

Once the Transportation Schedule is finalized you can generate Logistics Log Print.

The Transportation Logistics feature can be accessed from the Warehouse module by clicking on the Transportation Logistics icon (as shown below).

General Work Flow For Transportation Logistics

• Create New Transportation Schedule

• Add Logistics Details to the Schedule.

• Select and add the warehouse tasks of the order(s) for Dispatch/Picked up.

• Identify the item(s) for Dispatch / Pickup.

• Verify Dispatch/ Pickup Item Details.

• Generate Logistics Log Print.
